Wisdom Seed

Wisdom Seed aims to create a meeting ground which brings together spiritual teachers from various traditions and seekers in dialogue to explore spirituality in daily life. Join us for the first Wisdom Seed event on October 9th. The flow of the evening will be as follows: begin at 7 pm with a forty five minute silent meditation period, followed by brief entertainment, dynamic/inspirational speaker, and small group discussions with Ayurvedic snacks. We are fortunate to have Haricharan (Hari) Das as our first speaker.
This event will have a $20 suggested donation, but we will not turn anyone away for lack of funds.
To find out more, see who’s going to be speaking, and register for the event please visit our website: www.wisdomseed.org or send us an e-mail at info@wisdomseed.org
Yoga Circles

Yoga on the Bay offers you the opportunity to join our Yoga Circles, a Professional Community of Yoga Teachers coming together to explore how to successfully build their trade while feeling supported by peers and learning from those who have blazed the path in this beautiful Livelihood of teaching Yoga Asana.
The San Francisco Bay Area is a veritable Mecca for Yoga in the Modern Global Tribe. However, within the highly competitive environment created by an abundance of like-minded people, it is often difficult to keep feeling the support of community as we move into Teaching as Right Livelihood. At Yoga on the Bay, we see the isolation that many teachers feel as they build their student base, with each individual working to make a name for themselves in typical American entrepreneurship, and we offer not only an alternative business model, but also strong community for Yoga Teachers in the Bay.
Specifically, Yoga Circle refers to both an Event and a Network. In essence, the Events are workshops that go beyond refining our practice of Yoga in our bodies and minds, and branch into how we can live Yoga in our Business. We facilitate Circles approximately once per month, where a small rotating panel of Top-Notch Professionals speak to themes such as Methods for Mindful Marketing, Cultivating Teaching through Intuition, “Holding Space” for a Practice, The Nitty Gritty of Conscious Self Promotion, and Building a Balanced Following. Here the teachers are students. We come together to learn from those who have successfully navigated these themes then stay for conversation over vegan snacks to create a Network of heart and business connections outside of the studio environment. If we learn from eachother and feel support in our like-mindedness, the path to successful Yoga Teaching transforms from lonely competition to supported cooperation, and becomes a little brighter and a lot easier! Become a part of the Circle.
And, as all our events, Yoga Circles are by Donation, because we believe that this is the most fitting business exchange for what we do. It is a blessing to offer Circles to the Bay Area Kula of Devoted Yogis and Yoginis teaching the Dharma.
